The Philips LDK5 was the mainstay of BBC outside broadcasts from the late-1970s to the late-1980s. Sporting events, political events, concerts……the list is huge and impressive. They saw extensive use at the Royal Wedding in 1981 and at Live Aid in 1985 (four were used at Wembley). The history captured by these cameras is quite remarkable.
