St Margaret’s is sometimes called “the parish church of the House of Commons” and has long served as the parish church for members of Parliament. The current building dates largely from the 15th century, though a church has stood on the site since the 12th century. It’s often overlooked because of its famous neighbour Westminster Abbey, but it has its own rich history and is used for services, weddings, and memorials.
