Progressland Theatre inside the General Electric Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair in 1964, showing a Carousel of Progress living-room scene with Audio-Animatronics figures seated in a modern mid-century home interior. Created by Walt Disney and WED Enterprises for General Electric, the attraction presented the story of electrical progress in the American home. After the fair, the show moved to Disneyland in 1967 and later to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, making this color photograph an important view of the attraction in its original World’s Fair setting.
