This authentic 1950s colour photograph captures a bustling daytime scene along Piccadilly, one of London’s most famous thoroughfares, in 1956. The view looks east towards Piccadilly Circus, with the marquee of the Dilly Hotel prominent on the left and the storefront for Simpson (Piccadilly) Ltd on the right.
