Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel, Spean Bridge 1976

Perched on the banks of Loch Lochy, near Spean Bridge in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Letterfinlay Lodge House offers a peaceful escape in one of Scotland’s most scenic locations. Originally built in the 19th century as a hunting lodge for the MacMartins of Letterfinlay, the property has evolved over the years into an elegant lochside retreat.

Today known also as Whispering Pine Lodge, the hotel sits along the Great Glen, with panoramic views across the water and the surrounding hills. Its setting makes it an ideal base for exploring the outdoor attractions of Lochaber, from walking and fishing to wildlife watching and nearby historic landmarks like the Commando Memorial.
