The original entrance to Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly Line) station seen here at 11-13 Knightsbridge. Designed in Leslie Green’s trademark oxblood glazed tiles/blocks, this entrance was in use from opening in 1906 until 1932 when the station was rebuilt. This was also an entrance to St George’s Hospital adjacent to the main building, which was relocated to Tooting in 1980, and is now the Lanesborough Hotel. The station is now the Wellesley Hotel.
