This authentic 1980s colour photograph captures the theatrical entrance of the Hilton Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada, in 1982. The focal point is a large-scale statue of a classic Nevada showgirl, dressed in a red sequined leotard with an elaborate feathered headdress and tail, holding a cocktail glass aloft. The figure is mounted against a multi-paned mirrored wall that reflects the statue and the surrounding blue sky.
