To the right, a dark grey Ford Zephyr Mark IV (registration BRK 982H) is driving past, while a white “Laneways Travel” coach is seen further down the road, likely carrying sightseers between the capital’s landmarks. Flanking the left are the ornate iron and gold-leaf gates of the Palace, a masterpiece of Edwardian craftsmanship designed as part of the memorial to Queen Victoria. This historic thoroughfare, which borders Green Park, has long served as a key ceremonial route for royal processions and a popular vantage point for the Changing of the Guard.
