In the foreground, a black Austin FX4 taxicab and a yellow Opel Rekord navigate the wet London street alongside a white delivery van. This busy intersection, situated between Leicester Square and the National Portrait Gallery, remains a central hub for dining and theatre-goers, though many of the businesses have changed in the intervening decades.
