On the right-hand pavement, a traditional red “Bus Stop” sign for route 73 marks a fare stage, while pedestrians in late-seventies attire, including a woman in a light blue suit and sun hat, walk past the “Gresham Hotel.” This area, historically associated with the Bloomsbury Group and located near the British Museum, retains its grand residential character despite the busy mid-seventies traffic.
