This photograph shows a longer street-level view of newly built flats on Stanhope Gardens in South Kensington, London, photographed in 1960 during the final stages of construction.
The uniform brick terrace extends along the length of the street, with repetitive window spacing and continuous first-floor balconies fitted with metal railings.
