This is a strikingly simple North Wales motoring scene, with the exposed cliff, winding road and clear summer light all helping to place the car in one of the most dramatic roadside settings in Llandudno. The Great Orme’s Marine Drive had long been one of the resort’s best-known attractions, and views like this show why it remained such a popular route for motorists, day-trippers and photographers alike.
