We wanted to shine a light on some of the more overlooked and forgotten corners of 20th-century British history. From long-forgotten holiday camps to tourist attractions few people even remember, we wanted to cover some of the stories that haven’t been widely covered elsewhere. And we didn’t just rehash what’s already online. Instead, we went the old fashioned route: digging through vintage newspapers, old books, and magazines, and talking with people who know what happened. The result? Fascinating stories that bring these forgotten parts of the past back to life.
