Bucklersbury House was a large office block located on Queen Victoria Street in the City of London. It was built in the early 1950s as part of post-war redevelopment efforts after heavy bombing during the Blitz. The building was one of the first modernist office blocks to go up in the City after the war, designed by architect Harold Seifert and completed in 1958.

It stood on a historic siteβ€”Bucklersbury, an ancient street that once ran from Walbrook to Queen Victoria Street, lined with shops in Elizabethan times. During construction, Roman remains were uncovered beneath the site, including part of a Roman temple later identified as the Mithraeum of London (the Temple of Mithras). These remains were eventually preserved and displayed nearby.

Bucklersbury House itself was a rather utilitarian, concrete-clad building, often criticised for its aesthetics. It stood until the early 2000s, when it was demolished to make way for the new Bloomberg European headquarters, completed in 2017. The new building also incorporates a restored and much improved display of the Temple of Mithras on its original site.
