E Gandolfi Ltd, Chapel Street, London 1974

E. Gandolfi Ltd was founded in the early 1920s as a specialist provider of dancing shoes and apparel. The business moved to Chapel Street in the late 1920s. A warehouse was established in Paddington, and in 1949 a second shop opened on Marylebone Road. The factory later relocated to Hemel Hempstead, and then to Wellingborough.

The Chapel Street store seen here was later demolished, and the Marylebone Road shop was closed in 2017
